The appropriate classification of payments is important to WVU and WVU Research Corporation's compliance with federal and state tax, wage, and labor laws and regulations. WVU Tax Services assists departments in reviewing the payments they are making and ensuring payments are appropriately classified, as well determining the appropriate method of payment (Mountaineer Marketplace, prepaid card, Banner student account system, etc).
