If you would like to print your Form W-2 early, forms will be available for all current WVU employees through eNODS with the State Auditor’s Office http://www.wvsao.gov/ beginning early January each year. Paper Form W-2s will be mailed to all current and former WVU employees by the end of January each year.
If you are an employee covered by PEIA for medical insurance, you will notice a change to your Form W-2 beginning in 2012. The Affordable Care Act requires employers to report the cost of coverage under an employer-sponsored group health plan. Reporting the cost of health care coverage on the Form W-2 does not mean that the coverage is taxable. This reporting is for informational purposes only and is meant to provide employees useful and comparable consumer information on the cost of their health care coverage. You will find the cost of your health insurance in box 12 with a code of DD of your Form W-2. The amount reflects premiums withheld from your pay plus the employer cost for your coverage.
Employee Address Change Information for Form W-2
Tax Services would like to remind you to update your mailing address each time you relocate to ensure you receive your Form W-2. Payroll address updates can be processed through the “MyHR” tab in MyAccess or through your EBO. At each year end to ensure that your Form W-2 is mailed to the correct address, if you need to update your address for payroll purposes between December 15th and January 15th please send your address change to firstname.lastname@example.org in addition to updating through either MyAccess or your EBO.
