Form W-2 Information
Current employees of WVU can access an electronic copy of their most recent Form
W-2 through the
WVU Portal. Accessing your Form W-2 through Portal requires an active connection
to the
WVU Virtual Private Network (VPN). Step-by-step instructions are available
in the
WVU Shared Services Center Knowledge Base.
Forms W-2 for ex-employees, as well as all Forms W-2 for previous years, are
not available through the WVU Portal. Please
contact Tax Services for copies of previous years' Forms W-2 or Forms
W-2 for ex-employees.
Tax Services cannot provide duplicate copies of Forms W-2 for 2023 until February
12, 2024. When requesting Forms W-2 by email, please provide your full
legal name, date of birth,
WVUID, and the year(s) for which you are requesting your W-2.
Form 1098-T and W-9S Information
Forms 1098-T for current WVU students can be accessed through the WVU Portal. Former WVU students can access their Form 1098-T through ECSI. Instructions for accessing both ways, as well as requesting prior years' forms, can be found in the Form 1098-T Access Information.Students that received Form W-9S from WVU can find additional information in the Form W-9S Frequently Asked Questions.

Payroll processing for international employees is available
by appointment only. Please
contact Tax Services for information on processing for payroll. Employees must
be physically present in the United States before beginning payroll processing.

Wage garnishments and suggestee executions for WVU employees can be mailed to: WVU Tax Services, One Waterfront Place, PO Box 6005, Morgantown, WV 26506.
Updated tax withholding forms for active WVU employees should be submitted via LiquidFiles to payroll@mail.wvu.edu. Forms should not be submitted via email. Blank tax withholding forms can be found on the Payroll Tax Withholding page.
